Further, he distributed the prizes with regard to startup idea pitch competition, held on June 24th and 25th, 2022, in Sreenidhi Ascend. The Valedictory session was presided by Mr.K.Abhijit Rao, CEO, SNIST, along with the guests of honor - Shri Dipan Sahu, Asst. The afternoon sessions were divided into four technical sessions - creating and sustaining the I&E Ecosystem Visualizing and Developing action plans for I&E Ecosystem in HEIs Benchmarking, Measuring I&E Ecosystem in HEIs and Impact creation and IP and Technology transfer. He discussed about other initiatives of MoE like Mentor Mentee, Kapila program, ARIIA & YUKTI repository portal also. of India, on IIC model through quality participation of HEIs, and policy awareness and advocacy session on I&E initiatives of MIC and AICTE. He said that Telangana is one place where all major high-quality incubation centers including IIIT-Hyderabad are located and urged everyone to utilize the resources to further strengthen the ecosystem. He discussed about opportunities available in startup the state’s ecosystem. Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government was the dignified Keynote Speaker of the session. Purushottam Ramchandra Patil, Regional Officer & Assistant Director, SCRO, AICTE, highlighted the significance and opportunities of HEIs in the development of entrepreneurial activities and role of faculties in guiding, supporting, and motivating the students towards innovation and startups.Īfter the inaugural session, more than 30 regional ecosystem enablers including incubators, state agencies, and startups were part of the round table discussion to strengthen their relation with educational institutions. ![]() Innovation Director – MIC, stated the importance of the ecosystem, in nurturing the students towards creating startups and empowering innovations. Then, the Guest of Honour, Shri Dipan Sahu, Asst. About 65 IIC posters were also exhibited during the meet and more than 130 innovations were demonstrated along with 4 Parallel Knowledge sharing sessions on various innovative topics.Īddressing the audience, Chief Guest Sri Navin Mittal, IAS, and Commissioner of Collegiate Education, highlighted the role of mentors in moulding the students towards build startups and drive entrepreneurship. More than 525 faculty representatives from over 135 IIC institutions from the South Sero Region (Telangana) took part in the meet to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). The objective of the meet was to foster innovation and entrepreneurship culture among the students. Sreenidhi institute of Science & Technology, Hyderabad is honored to have hosted the regional meet of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on Augin collaboration with the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. ![]()
